Artificial Intelligence

A quick recap of the terms, from broadest to narrowest:

• AI is the umbrella field: systems that perform tasks needing human intelligence, such as perception, reasoning, learning, problem solving, and decision making.
• Machine learning is AI that learns patterns from data instead of following hand-written rules.
• Deep learning is ML that uses multi-layer neural networks.
• Generative AI is deep learning that creates new content: text, images, audio, video, and code.
