AI use cases and applications
Capabilities of Generative AI
Generative AI can automate tedious work such as data entry, find patterns and trends to support decisions, and take over complex tasks so people can focus on creative work.
The seven capabilities covered in the course
- Adaptability: handles many tasks and domains, tailoring content to the context.
- Responsiveness: generates content in real time, which suits chatbots and customer service.
- Simplicity: turns complex tasks into simple requests, such as writing code or a document from a short prompt.
- Creativity and exploration: produces new ideas, designs, and solutions.
- Data efficiency: can learn from relatively small amounts of data through pre-trained models.
- Personalization: creates content tailored to individual users.
- Scalability: produces large amounts of content quickly.
The full notes captured only the first slide of this carousel. The rest of the list comes from the AWS course.
Not capabilities: conversion rate and cross-domain performance are business metrics. Accuracy is a weak spot of generative AI because of hallucinations.
